thank you for your encouraging texts, calls, and packages! If I haven’t told you yet, I am so thankful for you!!!!! I am definitely going through it, but we are so grateful to be making it, with your kind words and encouragement.
This afternoon, I was feeling pretty overwhelmed because the youngest is refusing to do anything that isn’t walking, cooking, talking, or watching local TV. We literally watched Bob Ross today. We also played Chutes and Ladders and Pick Up Sticks, took a walk, cooked, and talked. He is having so much mama time. Today, he tried to tuck me in and lull me to sleep (so he could find something to play video games on), but thankfully, I had all the energy tonight and was able to stay up to do whatever activity he wanted as long as it wasn’t playing video games. Hopefully, he will just get so tired of PBS and talking that he will want to rejoin civilization again. In the meantime, I’ve been talking to a lot of professionals to get some answers. I wish that they would just provide an easy answer, but so far, it sounds like patience and perseverance is key.
here’s to patience and perseverance! And never giving up, Praise God!
