yo, I am so in awe of the beautiful International Day I had a chance to visit on Friday. May God bless this school! So grateful to all the many teachers who put that event together celebrating cultural heritage, letting kids enjoy sharing their culture!!

There is nothing like seeing someone light up, being so proud to be their culture- American. As a Ukrainian-American, we bring our strength and resilience to the table every day, and likewise, each and every culture has amazing strengths to contribute. Whether it’s gorgeous dancing, hopeful music, or just speaking about something poignant, it’s moving to see people sharing their culture with others. The joy on their faces is contagious, and I am so grateful for their contributions!

Just like that, we can all make our country better together! We can build on the strengths of our ancestors!!! We can share what’s important to us and co-create a beautiful experience . . . Together.
