Right now, while watching the Knicks vs. Spurs game, I am nervous about my team. Will they win? Can they get it together to come out on top? Can they work as a team to make things happen? I am worried, that tightness in my chest, the need to take deep breaths and eat some snacks.

But earlier today, it was a completely different story. Papa and I watched yesterday’s USA – Paraguay game. I was totally relaxed cuz I already knew the score. We come out on top. So in the second half, when it was a little dicey, I was tranquil because the final score was already on my phone. No worries. No stress. 😎

What if that’s how we treated our present day troubles? We know it’s going to be all right in the end. We know God works all things together for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. We know God is good. He will never leave us nor forsake us. He loves us so much. He will shelter us under His wings. We need only to be strong and courageous as we know God’s got us!!! It’s easier said than done, but we don’t need to give up. We can put down that stress and have faith in the One who loves us too much to let us fail. Ultimately, we win. It’s only a matter of time — of patience, determination, and faith!!
