Yesterday was a tough day for my dad, but thanks to the right medicine, great nurses and doctors, wonderful friends and family, and a lot of Our Fathers and Hail Mary prayers, he had a good evening. I even saw a full rainbow last night! Our Father in Heaven knew I needed to see that, especially as my own kids were flying out with their dad. Like I said, it was a tough day, but it ended beautifully.
Today, I prayed a lot cuz I have so much anxiety and I just kept throwing all my cares at Jesus. The physical therapy session was really good, complete with some solid walking. Papa did all the prescribed PT exercises after she left. Then, he saw a friend who cheered us all up (thank you!). Also, it was satisfying to watch Papa eat the mashed potatoes I made with fish. I actually administered meds by peg tube, which has also been a big source of anxiety for me, but has turned out to be okay, by the grace of God. So happy for medical research and development that leads to effective treatments. Thank you for that, all the scientists and researchers out there!
Finally, I took a long drive praying again because I missed my kids. The Blue Ridge Mountains are so beautiful. Creation is amazing, and God is so good.
Please continue to pray for my family. It means so much!!!!!
Elena
