have you ever read or listened to the Bible and you feel like it’s absolutely perfect for what you are going through? That’s how I felt with James, Chapters 1-3 today! Like it was written for us today, am I right?!!! Just what I NEEDED to hear. What we are going through right now is developing everyone’s maturity, if we let it.

today was tough because what my dad is going through is tough and it’s hard to see someone in a difficult situation, voicing his frustration. And yet how do we respond? We explain calmly and lovingly what is happening, and why it is happening.

Usually, I am down for kids visiting and helping with Dedushka, but not today. I am grateful to talk with a friend today. I really, really needed it. My aunt and I also visited the cemetery and she brought the most beautiful flowers for my mom. The sun was shining right on us, and it was like mama was telling us not to worry. There is no reason to worry. In my fleshly mind there is definitely reasons to worry – several reasons, in fact. But if we adopt a heavenly perspective, the perspective of God who tells us not to worry and not to be afraid but pray and ask, then there really is no reason to worry. So, my mom is right is what I’m saying. I just need to be reminded of that on a minute-to-minute basis right now!!!
