Standing Face-to-Face

Today, as my dad’s friend and I were encouraging my dad in physical therapy this morning, we watched a modern marvel. So, imagine a bench that has a pull out chair and hand rails, and with a click of a button, the chair inclines up so that the person can “stand.” In front of him is a vertical mat that supports the knees. My dad was basically holding up his body with his right arm and right leg, with the physical therapist holding up the left side of his body.

The effect? We could stand face-to-face, eye level with my dad. What an amazing invention and what a fantastic therapy session. Thank you to our therapists!!!!! Papa’s friend was amazed at his progress. Praise God!

Prayer request — papa’s left leg. For it to work, by the grace of God!
