Today started with a bit of setback that required ER, time, and surgery.
Thankfully, the surgery went well and we are back in rehab! Woohoo!!!!!
Also, the day’s events actually ended up causing a chain of events that will God-willing lead to an even safer experience, although of course we are sad that my dad had to suffer today. We pray that tonight, Papa will have a restful night, and a better day tomorrow!
I am also thankful that one more kid got to spend time with Dedushka today. My dad was glad to see him!!! Tomorrow, we are hoping that the oldest one will have a longer time with Dedushka after church.
We pray for protection and peace for all the kids so they feel strong and able to see my dad.
Today, everyone in the family was able to directly or indirectly help Papa. As my friend Mosh told me today, “What an honor!” And as Solene says, we were able to find joy in the chaos of the day! Sweet moments around food, soccer, and birthday parties. Enjoying the sunlight and cheering for each other. Sharing food and smiles. Being able to stand in the gap for each other.
truly, what an honor.
