Today, I hung out with my dad in the morning and watched my dad try his best in speech therapy and encouraged him to push through a very intense physical therapy session — I swear he was doing a real work out with multiple side planks that were making me feel like I need to work out harder!
Then, I made lunch with the youngest – chicken and rice. I took my middle dude to his soccer game and cheered for his team because they are awesome. I also got a bonus – seeing some former students who I swear have grown up into actual men in like two years. That was fun to see and they are so funny and kind! And a female student is at CATEC learning about nursing! Woohoo!! Ah, so great to see them!!!!!
After soccer, I went home and picked up my oldest so she could practice driving. She is a better driver than me, no joke.
Then, I vacuumed the upstairs while the boys took care of potatoes and chicken for dinner with Era. She came over and we discussed updates. Everyone shared about their life, their difficulties and progress and . . .
Great news!
Era shared that right before dinner . . . My dad was able to move his left thumb!!!!!
DUDE, we have been praying for this so hard, right? Thank you so much. I am so happy!!!!! My dad has been suffering so much on a daily basis that this news gives us so much hope for the future!!! Praise God from whom all blessings flow!!! Era, Luda, Olya, and I have done so many massages and so many exercises!!!!! Truthfully, I was feeling like any day now, Lord, please, please help us!! His timing is best. Today was a perfect day for a breakthrough 🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷
