Today, two great people came to visit my dad and encouraged us to keep fighting and never give up. That was important for me to hear and made a big impression.

This evening, my aunt surprised us with a visit and she, the boys, and I walked in the sunshine to World Market, talking on the way. I felt so happy to walk with her! It was exactly what I needed after a long week.

We finished up the night with tea and Kim’s Convenience (rewatching for what must be the fourth time). In one of the episodes, Jung applied for assistant manager, and it makes me want to be brave, too, and believe that miracles can happen.
