We had an eventful day over here with serious storms. I ended the night by watching lightening bugs and charging my phone with my car charger and then finally enjoying the fireworks from the house. I can hear fireworks now from our neighbors. I remember when I lived in Texas, there were fireworks going off all night long. Here, we had quite a lot close by, and now finally things have settled down. I was supposed to drive to a friend’s house today for dinner and fireworks, but it turned out that a quiet evening is exactly what the Doctor ordered. Maybe we all needed a little rain, cathartic for clouds and humans alike. The plants needed it, too!!!!! Here’s to a quieter 4th, filled with introspection and memories of beautiful 4ths and anticipation of future 4ths to look forward to!
