It has been a long time since I have thought about what matters. Most times, I am on autopilot. Just wake up and go, go, go. Today, life gave me time to think in the hospital.
And what is ultimately important? Family. Being together. Being there for each other. That’s what matters. That’s what I really care about. And guess who has always been there for me? My dad.
What do I want to teach my child about priorities? What comes first? Long day today, but I think I found the answer.
