What does unconditional love mean? Loving at all times. Forgiveness. Loving concern. Open heart. Frankly, it’s a miracle. It’s amazing that despite meltdowns, a mother’s heart never stops loving (liking yes, but not loving 😉
Unconditional Love. Sasha just said, “I miss Era still.” My sis came to visit and she also has unconditional love for the kids and we have so much love for her. I am currently sitting next to two ninjas and a goth sea princess with a neon blue wig, we are watching Hotel Transylvania, and we are counting our blessings:
Era visiting.
At my friend’s fantastic fall party, holding baby chicks.
Standing by a fire at a great outdoor work party, Andy drinking Sprite and watching the flames (read:sneaking logs to add to the fire).
Praying and coloring with the boys at church.
Listening to live music outside today with my parents, sis, and kids, the Blue Ridge Mountains as a backdrop.
We had an absolutely wonderful weekend with my sister. We are so thankful, and it’s not even November yet, man. Seriously, sometimes my work week makes my head spin, but spending time with people I love steadies me and fills me up, and I know I am ready to share some of that love with my students. Monday, can’t wait for you, buddy ;). Well, yes, I can, who am I kidding? But it’s amazing how unconditional love gets us ready for the week ahead with a grateful heart, one joke, smile, and hug at a time.
Love you, Era! Thanks for visiting!
