I have had Psalm 45 on my mind. I checked what it said — the King marrying his beautiful bride. According to Hebrews, Jesus is the King and the Church is his Bride. We as the church are so beautiful to Jesus. He died for us. That is how much he loves us and in the midst of the pain of the world —where it’s like no matter where we turn, we can’t escape the pain— Lord, you remind us that you love us so much. Yes, we are precious in Your sight. We are worthy. We are loved. We are treasured. We are beautiful.

when we feel worthy, then we are more inclined to create, to speak, to move. We believe what we say, do, and pray matters to God.

I am praying for the Pope today. I am praying he gets better. We don’t have to agree with him on everything, but I do hope that he will be able to be there for the entirety of the Jubilee Year. Please God help him in this time!
