By God’s grace, we made it!

Despite days when we didn’t want to pick up the phone, didn’t want to get out of bed, didn’t want to keep going, God’s grace showed up when we just couldn’t fathom another day.

On the day I got engaged and on the day we decided not to get married, God’s grace was there. On the day I didn’t want to get up in the morning and on the day I was so excited because my students were presenting on the morning announcements, God’s grace was there.

Life may have not always looked like I had hoped but in all those moments, God was there. On the days I watched movies, hugging my kids, and on the days it was just me and my new friends, the cats, God was there. On the days that I felt so weak and on the days I felt strong, God was there. Every single day. We are not alone, after all, and I hear Him saying in my spirit, well done good and faithful servants. Merry Christmas everyone and may you have a happy 2021. We learned that on the good days and on the worst days, it is well, it is well, with my soul ❤️
