Y’all I got home after working all day teaching virtually from my classroom and the house looked like the kids had welcomed a friendly bear in and said, “Go play, buddy.” The bear called his family, like, “Cuz, come over!” The raccoons overheard and said, “Party at Lena’s!” And the squirrels weren’t going to miss out. “Let’s go, dudes!” I mean, a complete disaster.
Y’all I got a trash bag and I was seething. Like, full raging, crying, why me, God? mode.
and as I was cleaning up banned glitter, I felt God saying,
“This is how your messes look and I just help you clean it up.”
The rage and the tears stopped on the spot.
“Oh, Lord. You are so right. I am so sorry.”
complete calm in my heart.
Lord, thank you. Thank you. Time after time you have helped me clean up the mess in my life. Thank you thank you thank you. Help me now, Lord, please.
where do we need a change of perspective? Let’s pray for calming wisdom, folks.
On my knees, Lord, help me see things how you see them.
