Oh my goodness! First of all, thank God for a peaceful weekend here in Cville. Thank you to all who worked hard to keep us safe this weekend. Many great events took place here to bring unity to the city (and some people even saw Dave Matthews in town—I know it’s not as important as solidarity, but it helps).
Tomorrow morning, work life begins. After getting up early, I will take my kids to camp and grandma and grandpa’s house. Thank God for the support it takes to raise these kids and go to work. Thank God for my parents especially and for my friends! Thank God for the camps this week that make it possible to go to work while the kids are still not in school.
And finally, I am so excited for this year! I have to figure out how to organize my new room. A chance to rethink and restructure. The most important thing is creating a warm environment with clear routines. And for me personally, I am excited to see and work with my coworkers!
As I was just talking about with my friend in Jersey, God promises He will be with us through it all.
Hope you all have a happy and productive week!
