what does it mean to be honest and vulnerable in this day and age?

what does it mean to tell your truth even though someone may see it differently? What does it mean to be there for someone in the way you know how to be even if others judge you for it because it’s not their way of being?

What does it mean to follow a Shepherd? To look to Jesus, as Hebrews tells us to do. To look to God for our validation, our guidance, and our rest? Not to family, or friends (although God knows how much I appreciate it), but know in your soul what you need to do and just do it, without worrying what someone may think? I thank God for my friend’s family who guided me and encouraged me to look to the Shepherd to lead me on my way.
