on the one hand, we can focus on everything that is not going well in our lives. This list is long and easy to make because of all the things worrying, saddening, or enraging us every day.
Or. . . we can focus on what we are grateful for while seeking wisdom for whatever is troubling us.
I would like to highlight a few things I am grateful for. First and foremost, family and friends. A warm house. Daily bread. Transportation. Books. The rosary. My church. My TEAM, or course! The gym. My cell phone. Cats. Pillows. Warm water. Vaseline. The list goes on. I am also thinking about my coworkers – they fought for our support staff — WHO WORK SO HARD— to get a decent wage. That’s awesome. I am so proud of them. What a notable achievement. Our support staff is phenomenal, and I am truly grateful for them. I am also grateful for two coworkers who went to a home visit with me to a lovely family. So kind and hospitable. I hope their son knows how much we value him and his family. Finally, I am grateful for my mom’s best friend who always looks out for us. Thank you!!! Bolshoye Spasibo! Thinking about all the things I have to be grateful for warms and grows my heart 🩷🩷
