This morning, all three kids missed the bus, so I had a chance to drive each of them to school, get a green tea, and go to see my dad. He did a wonderful job at PT, which made me so happy and relieved. Era and I had a visitor— Diane S, a doctor whose voice is so calming, whose smile is reassuring, and whose laugh is deeply calming, on a soul level. She brought food, and we sat and talked and held my dad’s hand.

Later, I read a little bit from a Russian book and then read Psalm 42 (Psalm 41 in the Orthodox Bible). I was thinking of which Psalm to read, and I felt a nudge in my spirit to read that one. It was so comforting and encouraging at the same time.

Later, I stopped by the grocery store. A co-worker found me in one of the isles and gave me a gift card to that same store!!! Praise God from whom all blessings flow! I definitely teared up. Thank you!!! Finally, I went home and prayed and had a mental moment with the kids. Now, sleep time!
