Fraternidad

woke up today worried that we would have school tomorrow and we were still iced in. Had some breakfast with tea, and not too long after, I see a group of four people pull up to my driveway. At first, I didn’t recognize these amazing folks. And then I took out the trash and saw – oh my Gosh — that’d the Henderson family!!! I felt like they were my brothers and sisters, coming to help. I felt so grateful. I sat on a DoorDash bag and slid down to them, grabbing a shovel and getting to work!

you see, I didn’t have a metal shovel myself, nor a pick ax. In this situation, you have to break up the ice to be able to use the plastic shovel. I needed a big, strong human with the right tools for the job, and a whole family showed up!!! Praise God!!!! Thank you so much, Henderson family and our neighbor, Hector. There we were, playing music and shoveling snow together for an hour. Then, the boys went to the gym and I continued to work.

Now, I feel so much better. I feel free! It was literally a breakthrough, thanks to the Hendersons!!!!! Thank you so much!!
