Today at church we celebrated the baptism of the Lord. I really enjoyed talking with a friend and also meeting a visitor! It felt so good to talk to kind and funny adults!!

It’s been hard recently because I have been parenting solo, and I think because of that, I have been letting things slide because I don’t want to fight about certain things. For example, Fortnite. But I was also very clear that if the kids didn’t fulfill their responsibilities, I promised to take the PC, so now, tomorrow, I actually have to do it. I am learning from Mr. Nelson to give consequences instead of yelling, but I am dreading THEIR yelling and screaming that will inevitably occur after the removal of their favorite device.

Ah, and yet I have to be the adult. God, please give me wisdom as to how to proceed in this sensitive situation, lol. Please help me to execute the right decisions in the right way.
